Erik is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through IDFPR who received his masters degree in social work from Loyola University-Chicago. After finishing his degree, Erik also completed a one year fellowship program at the Depression and Anxiety Speciality Clinic of Chicago. Erik has over seven years of experience providing high quality and compassionate mental health care to a diverse client population in multiple treatment settings.
In addition to treating anxiety and depression, Erik also specializes in addressing issues related to addiction, relationships and OCD. Erik utilizes a variety of treatment modalities and clinical interventions to support the unique experiences of his clients. He takes a sincere and genuine interest in seeing and understanding each client for who they are who they hope to become.
Erik believes that therapy is fundamentally about deepening our understanding of ourselves in order to live richer, more meaningful lives. He understands that the foundation of any successful treatment is built upon the therapeutic alliance between client and therapist. He takes great pride in the working relationships that he cultivates with his clients.
Outside of work, Erik enjoys film photography, writing and recording music, skateboarding along the lakefront and spending time with his family and friends.
